Тему сельского хозяйства затронул губернатор Ставрополья Владимир Владимиров во время прямой линии. По его словам, ситуация с будущим урожаем выглядит оптимистично. Профильное министерство отслеживает её каждый день, передает ИА Stavropol.Media.

Большинство всходов сейчас находится в хорошем состоянии. По сравнению с 2023 годом показатели по нескольким параметрам стали лучше.
Кроме того, на Ставрополье ведется большая работа по импортозамещению в области семеноводства. Сейчас зерновые культуры в регионе полностью отечественные.
К сожалению, пока сохраняется зависимость от импортных семян кукурузы и подсолнечника, но работу по переходу на отечественную селекцию в этом направлении также ведем. Сегодня прорабатываем вопрос размещения в крае производства семян кукурузы, это позволит нам стать крупнейшим производителем этих семян в России, — отметил Владимир Владимиров.
Власти Ставрополья стремятся к тому, чтобы к 2027 году все семена в крае были отечественного производства.
Сообщается, что местные аграрии уже засеяли около 2 млн га озимых культур и более 400 тысяч яровых. Завершен сев в 16 округах.
