Сегодня, 13 июля, в Севастополь зашел с неофициальным визитом фрегат Военно-Морских Сил Вооруженных Сил Франции «Жан Де-Вьен».
В первый день своего пребывания в Севастополе представители экипажа французского корабля во главе с командиром фрегата капитаном 1 ранга Лораном Эмером посетили штаб Военно-Морских Сил Вооруженных Сил Украины, где встретились с начальником управления личного состава штаба командования ВМС ВС Украины контр-адмиралом Игорем Тымчуком. Делегацию экипажа фрегата «Жан Де-Вьен» сопровождал атташе по вопросам обороны при Посольстве Франции в Украине капитан 2 ранга Алекси Вилер.
В ходе протокольной встречи французские моряки выразили свое удовлетворение радушным приемом, которым их встретили в городе-герое Севастополе.
– Мы рады впервые побывать в городе, который имеет такое большое героическое прошлое, – подчеркнул командир фрегата капитан 1 ранга Лоран Эмер. – У наших стран есть много общего, в частности, некоторые моменты в нашей истории. Также этот город является для нас знаковым потому, что завтра, 14 июля, именно здесь мы будем праздновать национальный праздник Франции – День взятия Бастилии.
– Отношения меду военно-морскими силами Украины и Франции крепнут с каждым годом, – отметил контр-адмирал Игорь Тымчук. – Об этом свидетельствуют постоянные визиты кораблей в порты каждой из стран, и совместное участие в международных мероприятиях в рамках программы «Партнерство во имя мира», и стажировка украинских военных моряков на французских кораблях. Надеюсь, что такое сотрудничество и в дальнейшем будет содействовать укреплению отношений между нашими народами.
В ходе беседы стороны обсудили нынешнее состояние и перспективы развития Военно-Морских Сил Вооруженных Сил Украины, вопросы будущего совместного участия ВМС обеих стран в операциях «Аталанта», «Активные усилия» и учениях «Си бриз», проблемы борьбы с пиратством, постройки корабля класса «корвет» для украинского флота и комплектования личного состава флота военнослужащими службы по контракту.
Как планируется, в этот же день экипаж французского фрегата проведет для представителей ВМС ВС Украины на борту «Жан Де-Вьен» брифинги и показательные тренировки по борьбе за живучесть корабля и противолодочной борьбе.
На следующий день командование экипажа фрегата «Жан Де-Вьен» примет участие в торжественной церемонии возложения венков и цветов к Мемориалу защитникам Севастополя 1941-1942 годов и к французскому мемориальному комплексу в поселке Кальфа.
15 июля команда французского корабля проведет товарищеский матч по футболу с украинскими военными моряками и ознакомительные экскурсии по кораблю для военнослужащих ВМС ЗС Украины. В этот же день с 14.00 до 17.30 корабль будет открыт для посещения жителями и гостями Севастополя.
16 июля фрегат ВМС ВС Франции «Жан Де-Вьен» убывает из порта Севастополь.
